In this modern world, there are a lot of people who would not want to wash and iron their clothes by themselves. There can be multiple reasons to it; either they are working people and too busy to include such tasks in their household activities, or they can be too old and weak to do it by themselves, despite of having a lot of free time. For such people, the client has started up the online laundry delivery system.
The project includes three users; the owner of the company who uses website, the laundry boy who visits customers’ houses to pick up order and deliver, who uses Android tablets and customers who can use either Android or iOS phones to access the application. The company provides all the services for your clothes; laundry, ironing as well as dry cleaning.
The process is quite simple. When customers want to send clothes, they enter the number of clothes and the service they want for each of them and then send the request for pick up. The laundry boy then comes home to pick up the clothes, if he is available and goes to back office. There he assigns the barcode to each cloth and sends in the respective service zones. He simultaneously updates the status so that customers can check it whenever they want. Once all clothes from a single order are ready, he goes to deliver it. Customer then signs in the tablet to confirm the delivery and the payment amount is deducted from the account. Customers can recharge the account once the balance gets over.
