A Magento Enterprise Store with PIM Integration. Faster Orders, Fewer Returns.

/ The engagement

Magento 2.3.3, Integrated with an Informatics PIM.

An upgrade of an established tools retailer's site to Magento Enterprise version 2.3.3, integrated with the Informatics PIM system. The build replaces an old Yahoo site, pulls product information from PIM through XML feeds, defines a firm data structure for every entity, and adds a deals page, so orders fulfil faster and returns fall.

/ About the client

Tools Retailer

The client is an established tools retailer that has supplied the community with power tools, hand tools, woodworking tools, and machinery. They wanted to get rid of their Yahoo site and integrate with PIM and ERP to fulfil orders faster and reduce returns.

Brainvire, as a Magento partner, upgraded the client's existing site to Magento Enterprise version 2.3.3 and integrated it with the Informatics PIM system, so product information flows in cleanly and the store runs on a modern, maintainable base.

/ The approach

Design, architecture, and features, shipped as one program.

/01Import

Orders from CSV

The client wanted to import orders from files with no product information, so the team built an order import that reads CSV files reliably.

/02Structure

Every entity defined

Product information had to import in a synchronized way, so the team defined a data structure for each entity, from categories and products to attributes and promotions.

/03Deals

A dedicated page

The client wanted a deals page, so the team created one to showcase promotions and pull shoppers to the best offers.

/04Migration

Off Yahoo, onto Magento

The client wanted rid of the old Yahoo site, so the team built a new store on Magento Enterprise 2.3.3 and moved them across.
