An Online Furnishing and Home Decor Store on NopCommerce. Brick-and-Mortar, Now Online.
/ The engagement
A NopCommerce Storefront, Wired to the ERP.
A NopCommerce store for a Dallas home decor brand, with high-quality imagery through the selection flow, wishlist and seamless checkout, Stripe payments, ERP integration, and PowerBI reports for end-to-end sales visibility.
/ About the client
Based in Dallas, Texas, the client offers a wide selection of high-quality furniture and home decor at competitive prices. In business since 1990, they own four Dallas showrooms of 100,000 square feet each, spanning mattresses, entertainment centers, outdoor furniture, and dining room sets.
After tremendous success in brick-and-mortar, the client needed an online store that promised an excellent shopping experience. Brainvire's Microsoft consultants chose the latest NopCommerce, with high-quality imagery, a wishlist, seamless checkout, and PowerBI reports.
/ The approach
Design, architecture, and features, shipped as one program.
One touch point
A.NET-based NopCommerce build on the Dependency Injection pattern and a plugin-extendable architecture gives near-endless integration with the client's ERP system.
Cardholder authenticated
A cardholder authentication system integrates the Stripe gateway through the suitable Stripe API, so online payments stay secure against fraud and identity theft.
Customers grouped
A predictive model built with scikit-learn groups customers by demographics, purchase history, and browsing behavior into segments with similar characteristics.
Sorted at scale
Complex logic sorts a large inventory into categories like Living Room, Home Office, and Dining Room, so shoppers navigate a big assortment easily.
/ What stood in the way

Transition to omnichannel
The client wanted a unified, omnichannel touch point. We built a.NET NopCommerce solution on Dependency Injection with a plugin-extendable architecture for deep ERP integration.
Secure online payment
Online payments risked fraud and identity theft. We built a cardholder authentication system and integrated the Stripe gateway through the suitable Stripe API.
Customer segmentation
Grouping customers by demographics and behavior was hard. We built a predictive model with scikit-learn for classification, clustering, and model selection.
Many product categories
A large inventory had to be organized. We used complex logic to sort products into categories like Living Room, Home Office, and Dining Room.
