/ Accreditation
Brainvire is an Adobe Solution Partner with an Adobe Commerce specialisation. For you, that means certified architects, Magento depth back to version 1, and client work Adobe has shortlisted for its awards.
Adobe grants it to the company, so an Omani build gets the same standards and people as any other. The full scope is on our Adobe Commerce development services page.
Magento became Adobe Commerce, so a tender asking for a Magento partner is asking for us. We rescue Magento 1 and run Adobe Commerce on cloud; see our Magento practice page.
Adobe shortlisted our clients for its Experience Maker Awards three years running: RAK Ceramics, Pidilite, then Jazeera Paints of Riyadh. Read the RAK Ceramics case study and the finalist announcement.
Brainvire holds the Adobe Gold Solution Partner tier, and every Oman programme is delivered under it. Adobe also certifies people, so in scoping you meet the certified architect and developers on your build.
/ Proof on Adobe Commerce
Each card opens the full case. Closer to Oman, 2XL Home’s move to Adobe Commerce met inventory needs in Oman and the UAE at once, a bilingual Magento build we delivered carries the Omani rial, and a Kentico portal we built serves an Oman-based public university.
Adobe Commerce upgraded, then conversion, categorisation and checkout reworked on the live store.

/ Fawtara and VAT
Fawtara is the Oman Tax Authority’s e-invoicing programme. Your ledger issues each e-invoice; the store supplies clean input: tax treatment, the buyer’s registration details and the order lines.
Fawtara invoices use a standard digital format, are electronically certified and carry a unique verification code. They travel between supplier, buyer, their service providers and the Authority.
A pilot began in August 2026 with one hundred companies. Businesses with annual supplies above OMR 5 million comply from 1 April 2027, and all others from 1 October 2027. Early adoption is optional and supported.
The standard rate is 5% on most goods and services; exports are zero-rated and a short list is exempt. We price tax-inclusive and model each treatment in the catalogue.
The Authority accredits the service providers that transmit e-invoices. With your finance team we build what they send: invoice and credit-note layouts, structured output and archived certified copies.

Every stage closes on a deliverable you can open, not a progress slide. Scope sets the calendar, and a phase boundary is the cheapest place to change your mind.
Two workshops cover catalogue shape, trade terms, the ERP, the acquirer and your channels. If Open Source suits you better than an Adobe licence, the architect says so.
Data moves before anything is designed. Migration runs as rehearsals against a copy, each with a rollback point, until stock, prices and customer totals agree with your finance system.
A part shipment to Salalah, a refund across a VAT period, a trade account over its limit, a refused cash-on-delivery parcel: payments, ERP, courier and documents are tested together.
Your finance team picks the launch window. Cover runs through the first month end and returns cycle, then the roadmap turns to conversion, speed and deferred AI features.
/ Accelerators
Four components built and hardened on earlier Gulf and enterprise programmes, so the line item your steering committee worries about most starts largely done.
Products, customers, order history, content and search rankings cross over in a set order, each step reversible. A replatform becomes a string of small, low-risk moves.
Tax groups mapped, invoice and credit-note layouts with the fields and verification code the Authority describes, structured output for your provider, and archived certified copies.
Arabic and English views of one catalogue, mirrored rather than translated in place, with bilingual invoices, Arabic search synonyms and an address form built on wilayat, way number and building.
Stock, price and invoice stay in Odoo; Adobe Commerce runs the storefront and trade accounts. Both practices share one bench, so a stock mismatch is fixed in one room.
/ Payments and language
Adobe Commerce ships cash on delivery and gateways such as Braintree, but nothing Omani in the box. Maal, OmanNet and Thawani arrive through an acquirer, so that choice comes first.
Maal is Oman’s National Payment Card, supervised by the Central Bank and issued by licensed banks and providers as debit, prepaid and credit cards. It pays on Omani online stores and apps.
Maal acceptance sits with your bank or payment service provider, which updates its systems. We wire its gateway as the primary method and trace every settlement to its order.
Arabic runs as a second store view, mirrored through checkout, account pages, email and printed documents. Product copy, attributes and search synonyms are translated too, so Arabic searches convert.
Cash on delivery runs natively, with an order ceiling, area rules and a refused-parcel path through courier, warehouse and ledger. Shipping rules follow courier coverage from Muscat to Sohar, Nizwa, Duqm and Salalah.
/ Industries
Vertical teams with their own data models and reference builds, for the sectors where Omani trade is moving online: retail, distribution, building materials, motor parts and regulated consumer goods.
A shop floor, a marketplace listing and your own storefront, all drawing on one Adobe catalogue with stock that agrees across them.
Explore retail and ecommerce cases →Omani groups import, wholesale and now sell direct. One platform carries the trade accounts, the negotiated price lists and the consumer checkout.
Explore trading and distribution cases →Tile, sanitaryware and fit-out catalogues sold by area rather than by unit, ending in a specification document instead of an impulse purchase. The RAK Ceramics portal sits here.
Explore manufacturing cases →Dealer groups and parts distributors need fitment data, vehicle lookup and account pricing long before they need a homepage carousel.
Explore automotive cases →Regulated categories, restricted products and delivery promises you can keep. Here the catalogue rules matter far more than the theme.
Explore healthcare cases →Sizing that matches the garment, a returns path that works on the first attempt, and two languages that stay in step across a season.
Explore fashion and retail cases →Courier integrations, area based delivery windows, cash on delivery reconciliation and a returns path the invoice and the credit note both agree with.
Explore logistics cases →Digital and physical products in one catalogue, institutional accounts beside individual buyers, and entitlements that survive a refund.

Yes. A dedicated team runs your Oman project and joins you in Muscat whenever the work calls for it: discovery, training and go-live. Start with our Oman contact page, or see our global presence page.
Yes. Brainvire is an Adobe Gold Solution Partner, specialised in Adobe Commerce, and your Oman build runs under that tier. In scoping you meet the Adobe-certified architect and developers who will build your store.
The four case cards above each open a full study, from Rev-A-Shelf’s 5.4X conversion gain to a ten-country Magento estate. 2XL Home’s Adobe Commerce move was built around stock in Oman and the UAE, and we built a Kentico portal for an Oman-based public university.
Your ledger issues the e-invoice; your store feeds it. Fawtara began with a pilot of one hundred companies in August 2026. Businesses with annual supplies above OMR 5 million comply from 1 April 2027, and all others from 1 October 2027. The store passes tax treatment, registration details and order lines, with 5%, zero-rated and exempt lines flagged.
Yes, as Arabic and English store views sharing one catalogue, price and stock. Arabic mirrors right to left across checkout, account pages, emails and printed invoices. Addresses follow wilayat, way number and building, and meetings and documentation run in English.
Yes, through your acquirer. Maal pays on Omani sites that support the local payment gateway, so we make that gateway the primary method, add international cards and cash on delivery, and match each settlement to its order. OmanNet and Thawani follow suit.
Adobe Commerce earns its licence when B2B accounts, negotiated price lists, several store views or several markets share one catalogue. Open Source often suits one brand with a few thousand products, and we recommend it whenever it fits.
Scope drives both. A standalone upgrade takes 3 to 8 weeks, a small implementation 8 to 12, a mid-market build 12 to 24 weeks and an enterprise programme 6 to 12 months. Cost follows store views, integrations, data volume and hosting tier.
Yes. Stock, pricing and invoicing stay in Odoo or SAP while Adobe Commerce runs the storefront; see Odoo ERP for Oman and our Odoo partner record. A smaller catalogue may suit Shopify for Oman. The Oman overview gathers every practice.
Yes. The move runs as rehearsals on a copy of your store, each with a rollback point, and cut-over waits until order and stock totals match your finance system. A Magento 1 estate is stabilised first.
