One page from a senior architect in two business days: your highest-payback AI move, and what to leave alone.
/ Odoo · Saudi Arabia · Gold Partner
We implement Odoo 18 and 19 for Saudi groups across finance, inventory, manufacturing and POS, with AI inside the ERP and ZATCA Phase 2 built into the ledger. Our Saudi office is in Al Khobar, with a dedicated team on your working week.
/ ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing, Fatoora
Every invoice Odoo raises is signed, hashed, given a QR code and sent to ZATCA’s Fatoora platform, then cleared before the buyer sees it or reported within twenty four hours, by invoice type.
Your instance raises a signing request with a one-time password from the Fatoora portal, passes ZATCA’s invoice, credit-note and debit-note checks, then receives its production certificate. Every branch and device is rehearsed in a sandbox.
A standard tax invoice to a business buyer leaves Odoo as UBL 2.1 XML and is cleared by ZATCA first. The stamped document comes back and is filed against the invoice record.
A simplified tax invoice for a consumer is stamped in Odoo POS and printed with its QR code on the spot. If the connection drops, tills keep selling and the queue clears once it is back.
Each document carries a UUID, a counter value and the previous invoice’s hash, so the sequence cannot be edited or gapped unseen. The signed XML is archived where your auditor can reach it.

Most Saudi shortlists put SAP Business One, NetSuite or Dynamics 365 Business Central next to Odoo. Our comparisons weigh licensing, customisation, localisation and upgrade cost, so you decide on evidence.
The move GAFCO made. Licensing model, manufacturing depth and how much of the build is configuration rather than code: read the Odoo and SAP Business One comparison.

For groups already standardised on MicrosoftComparisonOrders, prices and stock move between Odoo and your Salla, Zid, Shopify or Adobe Commerce store the moment they change. Odoo raises each order’s invoice, so the document ZATCA sees matches the sale.
and moreLeaving SAP Business One, Oracle, Sage or QuickBooks should not cost you your history. We map old accounts onto Odoo and flag exceptions. GOWell Petro moved manual asset, rental and purchase workflows across the same way.
and moreDistributor feeds, retail-chain purchase orders and marketplace sales arrive as one stream inside Odoo, so a promotion that spikes on one channel cannot quietly lose orders on another.
and moreGoods leaving Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam meet carrier rates that shift daily. Each carrier connects through its own API, shipments route to the cheapest reliable option and delays surface early.
and moreZATCA first: standard invoices clear before they reach the buyer and simplified invoices are reported inside twenty four hours. The VAT return comes from the same ledger, with other markets’ tax engines synced to every transaction.
and moreMost Saudi cards present as mada, so your acquirer’s terminal is wired to Odoo POS and each payment reference posts with its order. Online providers such as Tamara settle to their own journals.
and moreBank statement feeds, BI dashboards and document tools all read from Odoo, which becomes the hub. Data keeps moving both ways, so month-end never waits on a manual export.
and more/ How we deliver
You see working Odoo at every checkpoint. Timelines follow scope, from 8 to 12 weeks for a small implementation to 6 to 12 months for an enterprise rollout.
Workshops with your finance, warehouse and sales leads map your processes, commercial registrations and ZATCA integration wave onto the modules phase one needs.
Data model, chart of accounts, Arabic and English document set and rollout order agreed in phases before configuration starts.
Modules configured, integrations built, and the e-invoicing link taken through ZATCA’s compliance checks in a sandbox while your team tests.
Migration dry runs, user training and a go-live window your finance team picks, usually just after a VAT return, not just before one.
/ Cost drivers
Two quotes only compare when the scope behind them matches. We size these four drivers, with Arabic content and training running across all of them, before any number reaches you.
Each legal entity carries its own books, VAT registration and ZATCA onboarding, and each warehouse its own stock rules. Both multiply configuration and testing, not just licences.
Sales, inventory and accounting first is a different programme from manufacturing, field service and payroll on day one. Sequencing is the biggest lever you control.
Every storefront, acquirer terminal, carrier, bank feed and POS device is an interface to build and support, and ZATCA onboarding runs per branch and per device.
Clean master data moves in days. Duplicate customers and three versions of one product code take longer to reconcile than to migrate, so we clean them together.
/ Industries
Dedicated vertical teams and reference models from earlier programmes, so the system you commission fits how your sector trades in the Kingdom.
Mall chains and franchise groups on one Odoo backbone, with loyalty, central pricing and every till reporting to the same ledger.

See Logistics case studies →/ Saudi localisation
Odoo’s Saudi localisation supplies the chart of accounts, VAT positions and e-invoicing module. We build the rest on top: payments, Arabic documents, payroll and group structure.
Your acquirer’s mada terminal is wired to Odoo POS, so each payment lands with its journal entry. Online, Tamara and the international card brands reconcile to their own settlement journals.
Arabic installs as a full language, flipping back office, portal and website to right to left. Invoices, delivery notes and quotations carry Arabic on the face, bilingual where customers want both.
Payroll posts GOSI contributions, end-of-service accruals and contract-specific allowances, and reports headcount in a form the Saudization rules recognise, inside Odoo rather than a side spreadsheet.
Holding company, operating entities and branches run as separate companies in one database, each keeping separate books, a VAT number and ZATCA certificates. The same certified consultants stay on the account: see our Odoo Gold Partner credentials.

Small implementations take 8 to 12 weeks, mid-market 12 to 24 weeks and enterprise rollouts 6 to 12 months; upgrades take 3 to 8 weeks. Leaving SAP Business One or QuickBooks fits inside those bands, and ZATCA onboarding runs in a sandbox during configuration.
In Al Khobar, at Brainvire Saudi Arabia. A dedicated team runs your project on your working week and is on site in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam whenever the work needs it. Every location is on our global presence page.
Four things: commercial registrations and warehouses, the modules in phase one, integrations and POS devices, and the state of your current data. Arabic content and training run across all four. Every quote follows a written scope.
Yes. We deliver a ZATCA Phase 2 integration, built and tested against the published specification. Phase 2 applies from 1 January 2023, with taxpayers moving in by wave, and your production certificate from ZATCA is the proof it works.
Yes. Each registration runs as its own company with separate books, VAT registration and ZATCA certificates, sharing one product and customer master. Intercompany entries post to both companies together, and consolidated reporting sits over the top.
Yes. Arabic installs as a full language, so back office, portal and website read right to left, and documents can be bilingual. Custom fields and report layouts are translated in the build. Meetings and support run in English.
Yes. In store, your acquirer’s mada terminal connects to Odoo POS and the payment reference posts with the order. Online, mada runs through a gateway your bank supports, beside Tamara and international cards, each settling to its own journal.
Start with the four case cards on this page: GAFCO’s move off SAP Business One, presented at Odoo Experience 2021; Ajmal Perfumes’ Odoo CRM and POS; UVJC’s nine departments on Odoo 19; and Online Tires’ 200+ locations on one Odoo back office.
The team that built it, under a managed arrangement: upgrades, monitoring, backups, an improvement backlog and training for new starters. Adoption decides whether an ERP pays back, so support covers your people as well as the software.
Odoo is a Belgian software company. It makes a suite of open source business apps, from Accounting, Inventory and Manufacturing to CRM, Point of Sale and Website. Its founder and CEO is Fabien Pinckaers, and its head office is in Grand Rosière, Belgium. Brainvire implements Odoo as an Odoo partner.
Yes. Odoo runs on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh or on your own servers, and Odoo itself provides a Saudi chart of accounts, VAT positions and an e-invoicing module for ZATCA. Arabic installs as a full language. We build the rest of the Saudi setup on top: mada payments, Arabic documents, GOSI payroll and group structure.
One Odoo database can run accounting, sales, purchase, inventory management, manufacturing, POS and payroll, with ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing built into the ledger and Arabic right to left throughout. Several commercial registrations can share it as separate companies. You can start with a few modules and add more in later phases.
It depends on what the system has to run. Odoo puts accounting, inventory, manufacturing, POS and CRM in one database, with a Saudi chart of accounts and a ZATCA e-invoicing module from Odoo itself. Customization is built as separate modules and kept upgrade-safe. If Zoho is on your shortlist too, compare both on the processes you run today, the integrations you need and the total cost over several years, not on the app list alone.
Odoo sells three plans: One App Free, Standard and Custom. Standard and Custom are billed per user per month. Standard includes all apps on Odoo Online. Custom adds multi-company, the external API and a choice of Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or on-premises hosting, with Odoo.sh hosting billed on top. The subscription is one part of the budget. The project is the other, sized by the four cost drivers on this page.
Many groups start with Accounting, Sales, Purchase and Inventory, with ZATCA e-invoicing live from the first invoice. Manufacturing, POS, payroll and field service often follow in later phases. Sequencing is the biggest lever you control on cost and time, so we agree it module by module at the planning stage.
In three places: on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh, or on servers you control, on your premises or with a cloud provider of your choice. Odoo Online hosts databases without custom modules, so a build with custom modules runs on Odoo.sh or your own servers. Where your sector has data residency requirements, we settle the hosting choice at the architecture stage.
