/ Brainvire Saudi Arabia · Shopify Plus Partner
We build and replatform Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for Saudi retailers: mada at checkout, Tamara on larger baskets, Arabic that reads right to left, and orders your ERP can invoice for ZATCA. AI is built into every store, not added later.
/ Checkout and language
Saudi shoppers pay by mada debit card, spread larger baskets over instalments, still ask for cash on delivery and expect a store that reads right to left. Your checkout and theme handle all four from launch day.
The Saudi Central Bank’s national network carries almost every debit card in the Kingdom. Online mada payments run over 3-D Secure, and we test that step on real phones.
mada is a network, not a plug-in. We connect a gateway your acquirer supports and write its reference onto every Shopify order, so finance can match each payout to its baskets.
Almost every Saudi basket starts on a phone. We add the card wallets your acquirer supports, a mobile-number-first account and a checkout that holds up on a weak signal.
Tamara and Tabby both connect to a Shopify checkout. We place the instalment message on the product page and in the cart, where most of its conversion effect sits.
A partial refund or cancellation must reverse with the instalment provider and on the Shopify order together. We rehearse that path before launch and reconcile each provider’s settlement file.
Shopify’s theme language reports each locale’s direction. We build the rest: mirrored layouts, flipped icons, Arabic numerals and line height, reviewed by someone reading as a Saudi shopper.
Shopify Markets puts Arabic on its own URL path with hreflang, and Translate & Adapt carries the copy. One product record holds both languages, so price and stock stay in step.
Many Saudi sellers still take payment at the door. We agree order-value caps, the cities it covers and a refused-parcel path your books can reconcile, with your fulfilment partner.

AI-watched monitoring and triageManaged services/ How we deliver
Each stage ends with a demo on your own catalogue. Discovery fixes your timeline band, from a theme rebuild in 3 to 8 weeks to an enterprise programme over 6 to 12 months.
Catalogue, tax treatment, gateway and sales channels are settled first, and your finance team signs off the order-to-invoice hand-off.
Arabic and English layouts are designed together on an upgrade-safe theme, and you see the working store every two weeks.
Gateway, Tamara or Tabby, ERP and courier are connected and tested together on real orders. Launch goes ahead with monitoring on and a rollback point ready.
A shared roadmap, a compatibility check before each Shopify release and the same lead after launch as before it.
/ Accelerators
An enterprise cutover, a checkout past Shopify’s limits, self-service dealer ordering and a storefront swap that left the ERP alone. Your Saudi build starts from all four.
The Salesforce Commerce Cloud catalogue moved across in stages, with zero operational downtime. You reuse the running order: data sequence, rollback points and the checks each stage must pass.
Native checkout capped products at three options, so we built seven-variant products, a Shopify Functions discount engine and Checkout UI Extensions. Custom function apps need Plus, so we scope to your plan.
Two thousand dealers moved from email and spreadsheets to one login, with their own catalogue and per-SKU prices. Shopify Plus B2B holds about 25 price tiers, no custom code.
The shop left Magento for Shopify while Odoo kept stock, customers and accounts, synced in real time. That split suits the Kingdom, where the ERP usually issues the tax invoice.
/ Industries
Every sector here has its own data model, reference builds and engineers who have shipped for it. Your brief lands with a team that already speaks your trade.
Saudi retailers sell through the website, marketplaces and branches at once. One Shopify catalogue feeds all three, so a price or stock change happens once.
Explore retail commerce cases →Gold and stones lift basket values far above a normal cart, so certificate data, made-to-order lead times and fraud checks carry the build.
Explore diamond and jewellery cases →Pharmacy, supplement and clinical supply stores, where who may buy what, and what data is kept, is settled before theme work.
Explore healthcare cases →A fitment index matches each part to the vehicles it fits, alongside dealer stores and workshop booking against live branch stock.
Explore automotive cases →Rate cards, courier hand-off, tracking a buyer can follow in Arabic, and the weekly cash-on-delivery reconciliation finance depends on.
Explore logistics cases →Trade buyers order on account, on agreed terms, from their own catalogue, modelled natively by Shopify Plus once the tiers are mapped.
Explore manufacturing cases →Developer and brokerage sites where the valuable moment is an enquiry, so every lead reaches your CRM complete and at once.
Explore real estate cases →Courses, study-material bundles and enrolment sold from the storefront you already run, with no extra platform for IT to maintain.

Your storefront feeds the tax invoice; in most Saudi stacks the ERP issues it. What matters is the data the store hands to finance and when it hands it over. Here is how we build that.
Shopify holds the order and its tax lines. Your ERP or licensed provider issues the invoice, so the integration carries the buyer’s VAT number and line-level tax treatment out, and credit notes back.
ZATCA runs Fatoorah in two phases: Phase 1 from 4 December 2021 and Phase 2 from 1 January 2023, the integration phase taxpayers join in waves. We plan around your wave date.
ZATCA lets taxpayers choose any solution provider that meets its requirements. We deliver a ZATCA Phase 2 compliant e-invoicing integration, built and tested against the published specification.
We clean master data to valid VAT registration numbers, map tax codes to Saudi categories, build Arabic and English invoice layouts and test the clearance flow in advance.

Brainvire Saudi Arabia is in Al Khobar, and your team comes on site in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam whenever the project needs it. Meetings run in English; Arabic lives in the product. Behind it: 1,000+ engineers across 10+ global offices.
Start with the four case cards on this page: Sacoor Brothers’ multi-store luxury fashion, Shop LC’s 1.1M-SKU replatform, Wet Sounds’ dealer portal and Cole Haan in Kuwait. In the Kingdom, our Adobe programme with Jazeera Paints, a Riyadh paint producer, reached the 2024 Adobe Experience Maker Awards finals.
Cards on the mada network come first, since almost every Saudi debit card runs on it. International cards and wallets sit beside them, Tamara and Tabby cover instalments, and cash on delivery still needs its own reconciliation path.
Yes, through your acquirer. mada is the Saudi Central Bank’s card network, not an installable app, so it reaches Shopify via a gateway your bank supports. We make that gateway the default method and agree wallet options with the same bank.
As an integration between the store and your ERP. Shopify supplies the order, the buyer’s VAT number and line-level tax treatment; your finance system issues the invoice and clears or reports it with ZATCA. We test the hand-off before your wave.
Yes, once the theme is built for it. Shopify tells the theme each language’s direction; we build the mirrored layout, flipped icons, numerals and line height. Translate & Adapt, Shopify’s own app, handles translation, and final Arabic wording is agreed with your team.
Yes. Shopify lists Brainvire as a Shopify Plus Partner, a partner since August 2021, rated 5.0 across ten merchant reviews, with Saudi Arabia among the locations we support. We share the profile link on the first call so you can read the reviews.
Shopify Plus, if you want Shopify to carry hosting, patches and peak-season load. Adobe Commerce fits several brands sharing one catalogue with complex pricing, or a board that must own the infrastructure. We score both against your catalogue, margins and channels.
From three weeks to a year, by scope. Small stores take 8 to 12 weeks, mid-market builds 12 to 24 weeks and enterprise programmes 6 to 12 months. Catalogue size, connected systems, two languages and extra Gulf markets drive cost. Scoping ends in prioritised buckets with agreed hours.
Yes. Shopify sells and your ERP accounts: orders, refunds, customers and tax data cross through a mapped integration, and credit notes land against the right invoice. One client swapped Magento for Shopify while Odoo kept the books; Cole Haan runs the same way on Microsoft Dynamics.
