Singapore shops on a phone, compares in a marketplace tab and expects the store to know them. These are the AI capabilities we build into retail software, from the POS to the storefront.

/ How we see retail here

Retail in Singapore is omnichannel or nothing.

Shoppers move between store, storefront and marketplace without noticing. The systems behind them have to do the same.

The decision

One stock pool, or none

Stores, storefront and marketplaces selling from separate stock counts is how the same unit gets sold twice. We scope a single pool behind POS and every channel first, in workshops at our Singapore office (+65 9086 0319), with 1,000+ engineers across 10+ offices behind the room.

Marketplaces

Shopee, Lazada and the storefront, one system

For Trendz 360 we synced Shopee, Lazada and Amazon into one Odoo backend, so marketplace orders land in the same place as store and web orders. That is our default shape, not an add-on.

The till

A POS at the counter that feeds the ledger

A retail POS system in Singapore has to carry consignment counters, GST and multi-store stock, not just take payment. Trendz 360 runs consignment-store POS across the island on Odoo for exactly that reason.

The numbers

Reports a merchandiser can act on

A Singapore-based enterprise selling over 13,000 products from 400 brands gets decision-ready analytics through a Power BI implementation by this team. 95% of clients stay with us after work like this.

GST-inclusive pricing, IRAS-ready tax invoices and multi-currency settlement; data flows documented for PDPA.

/ Before you choose

Retail POS system, Singapore: questions answered.

Which retail POS system should a Singapore retailer choose?

The one that shares a backend with your storefront and warehouse; a till that keeps its own counts creates the stock errors it was meant to prevent. We implement Odoo POS where store, web and marketplace orders must land in one system, which is how Trendz 360 runs consignment-store POS across Singapore, and we score alternatives against GST handling, multi-store stock and your existing stack rather than a feature list.

Can our physical stores and web store share one stock pool?

Yes, and it is usually the change that pays for the project. One pool behind POS and the storefront makes click and collect, ship from store and endless aisle real. Puma Energy, on this page, runs one Odoo 18 ERP and point of sale platform behind a convenience store network across 12 countries for exactly that reason.

Do you connect Shopee and Lazada to the same backend?

Yes. Marketplace connectors keep listings, pricing and stock in step with the storefront, and orders land back in one place. For Trendz 360, headquartered in Singapore, we synced Shopee, Lazada and Amazon into one Odoo backend.

Do you build retail loyalty programmes?

Yes, as part of the commerce build rather than a bolt-on. For Melissa we shipped a tailored loyalty module on Adobe Commerce that works online and offline, covering its stores across Singapore and Malaysia.

What does retail analytics actually deliver in the first quarter?

A working dashboard over your real sales and stock data, not a strategy deck. For a Singapore-based enterprise selling over 13,000 products from 400 brands, we are building Power BI reporting with an ELT framework underneath, so buying, pricing and sell-through decisions come off current numbers.

How long does a retail platform build take?

A focused storefront launch is measured in weeks; a multi-country commerce and ERP programme in months. Catalogue quality, the number of systems that must connect, and how fast your side can decide drive the timeline, so we phase scope and ship revenue-critical journeys first.

What features matter most in retail POS software?

Most POS systems take payment well. The difference is four features. Stock levels update in real time across all your locations. The till takes the payment methods your customers already use. Customer profiles follow a shopper from the counter to the storefront. Sales data posts straight to the ledger with GST applied, so month end is a check rather than a rebuild.

Is a cloud POS right for retail chains?

For most retail chains, yes. A cloud POS keeps every store on one price list and one stock pool, and head office sees retail sales as they happen. Odoo Point of Sale is browser-based, so it runs on any device, and Odoo builds it to keep working through temporary network outages. If your business needs on-premises hosting, we deploy it there instead.

Can one POS run our shops and F&B counters?

Yes. Odoo Point of Sale includes restaurant features for floors, tables and tips, plus preparation displays for the kitchen. A retail group with cafés or food counters runs both on one system and one set of reports.

Do you connect payment terminals and e-wallets?

Yes. Card terminals, QR code payments and e-wallets connect to the POS as payment tools, so transactions across all your payment options reconcile against the right sale. Odoo supports integrated terminals from providers including Adyen, Stripe and Worldline.

How does the POS connect to our CRM?

Each sale at the till updates the shopper record in your customer relationship management system, Odoo CRM or Salesforce. Purchase history, loyalty points and marketing campaigns then work from the same customer profile. Store staff see sales opportunities, such as a regular who has not visited lately, at the counter.

What is the difference between retail software and ERP?

Retail software usually means the tools shoppers and staff touch: POS, storefront and loyalty. A retail ERP is the system of record underneath, holding inventory control, purchasing, accounting and GST. Trouble starts when each tool keeps its own records, so we put the ERP first and connect all your sales channels to it.

Can the platform grow with us beyond Singapore?

Yes. When a store network grows into Southeast Asia or further afield, it keeps one ERP, with multi-currency settlement and the tax rules of each country configured per company. Business growth into a new market should not mean a second system. Puma Energy, on this page, runs one Odoo ERP and POS platform across 12 countries.

How much does a retail POS system cost?

It depends on three things: how many stores and registers your retail business runs, the hardware at each counter, and how many systems the POS must talk to. Software licenses are usually priced per user or per register, hardware is a one-off purchase, and integration work is where budgets differ most. We price the first phase after discovery, once those three are known.

How do you move us off our current POS?

Products, customers, loyalty balances and opening stock come across in a rehearsed migration, store by store, with old and new tills reconciled before cutover. Staff at each retail store train on the new POS before go-live, so the first trading day is not the first time anyone uses it.

Which retail businesses do you build for?

We build across the retail sector, and this page alone covers fashion, footwear, grocery, consignment counters and energy retail. We build for brands that sell online and in retail stores, and for store networks that need one shopping experience across both.

What does an all-in-one retail system include?

Point of sale, inventory management, ecommerce, loyalty and accounting on one database, with marketplaces and payments connected to it. Odoo covers each of these as apps on one platform. Where your storefront already runs on Shopify or Adobe Commerce, you do not need to replace it. We connect it, so your product offerings are managed in one place.

What should we check before choosing a POS vendor?

Check five things. Price the total running cost over several years, not the first invoice. Confirm barcode scanning and the local payment methods your shoppers use, PayNow included. Make sure stock syncs between online and offline sales. Ask how fast support answers during your trading hours. And ask how customer data is protected, because the PDPA governs the personal data a till collects, such as phone numbers for loyalty.
