/ The credential

What Select Partner means, in checkable facts.

A partner status is only worth something if you can test it. These are the four facts behind ours.

The status

OpenAI Select Partner

OpenAI named Brainvire a Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network on 21 August 2026. The status is OpenAI’s to grant, never an agency’s to award itself. The announcement sets out what the OpenAI Partner Network gives its partners: direct resources, technical enablement and strategic support.

The models

GPT-5.6 and ChatGPT Work

The partnership brings technical enablement and direct resources from OpenAI, so a Thai programme is scoped on the models available now rather than the ones an agency learned two years ago.

The bench

1,000+ engineers behind it

AI engineers, architects and data specialists across 10+ offices, with 2,500+ projects delivered. The AI team sits inside an enterprise engineering firm, so an assistant gets wired into the ERP, CRM and support stack you already run.

The work

Three OpenAI builds, documented

A retrieval application on OpenAI embeddings for an education firm, an HR assistant moved from Google Gemini onto OpenAI, and a governed knowledge assistant in financial services. Client names are withheld at each client’s request, and every card on this page names the country its work ran in.

/ Global proof, regions named

Applied AI outcomes, on the record.

Regional programmes first, delivered from Singapore; global work from the same bench follows.

Our OpenAI engagements themselves — a retrieval application on OpenAI embeddings with a Pinecone index, an HR assistant moved from Google Gemini onto OpenAI, and a governed knowledge assistant in financial services — are documented, anonymised at each client’s request, in our case studies, with the practice behind them on our global OpenAI partnership page and in the questions further down this page. What we deliver into Thailand is in the Thailand case studies.

/ What we build on OpenAI

Every OpenAI build, one accountable team.

The path from a first use case to governed AI solutions that run in production, delivered by one team on Thai working hours.

Use case discovery and scoring

We score candidate use cases on value and feasibility, then turn the winner into a scoped build plan. Most first projects start with support deflection, document search or a sales assistant.

AI assistants and copilots

Customer and employee assistants built on OpenAI models, answering from your own catalogue, policies and records rather than from the open internet.

Agentic automation

Multi-step agents that read, decide and act across your systems, with a person in the loop wherever an error would be expensive.

Retrieval and knowledge engineering

Retrieval pipelines and vector stores that give the model permissioned access to your enterprise content.

Evaluation, safety and cost control

Automated evaluations, guardrails, monitoring and token budgets, so accuracy and spend are both measured before anyone outside the project sees the system.

/ The engagement model

How an OpenAI engagement runs.

Four commitments that hold on every build delivered into Thailand. These are the terms around the technology.

01020304
Step 01

One use case, scored

A working session inside Thai hours picks the single use case with the clearest payback, and says out loud which ones are not worth building yet.

Step 02

Grounded in your data

The model answers from your documents and records, with permissions respected, so a person only ever sees what they were already allowed to see.

Step 03

Evaluated before launch

Accuracy is measured against a test set you agree, and the guardrails are in place, before the assistant meets a customer or an employee.

Step 04

Watched after launch

Monitoring on quality, latency and token spend, reviewed with you, because a generative system drifts in a way a normal application does not.

/ Due diligence

The questions to put to any OpenAI partner.

Ask these of every firm on your shortlist, ours included. Here is how we answer them.

Who granted it

Ask who awarded the status

Ours: OpenAI, on 21 August 2026, as a Select Partner in the OpenAI Partner Network. Ask any partner for the date and the programme behind its status.

What is live

Ask what is actually in production

Ours: a retrieval application on OpenAI embeddings with a Pinecone index, and an HR assistant rebuilt on OpenAI. Both have a case study you can open. A pilot that never left the lab is not proof, and neither is a press release.

Who turns up

Ask who does the work

Ours: the AI engineers themselves, as a dedicated team on Thai working hours, so calls, demos and support sit inside your working day.

Who has done it here

Ask for work in your market

Ours: OpenAI builds in education, information technology and financial services. The proof band above adds applied AI work on other platforms, and every card names its region.

/ In their words

You learn a partner after go-live.

These clients, from our commerce, ERP and product engineering work, speak to how an account is run, which is the part a shortlist rarely gets to test.

Brainvire has helped our business grow. It feels like a true partnership: seven great years, and we’re looking forward to more.

/ Frequently asked questions

OpenAI partner, Thailand: answers.

Is Brainvire an official OpenAI partner?

Yes. OpenAI named Brainvire a Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network on 21 August 2026. The status is OpenAI’s to grant rather than an agency’s to claim. The announcement sits on our newsroom and the practice behind it is on the global OpenAI page.

Which hours does the team work?

The team works Thai working hours (UTC+7). Scoping calls, demos and support are booked on Bangkok time, so they sit inside your working day rather than someone else’s.

Which OpenAI systems has Brainvire built?

A retrieval application on OpenAI embeddings with a Pinecone index for an entrepreneurship education firm, an HR assistant moved from Google Gemini onto OpenAI, and a governed knowledge assistant in financial services. Each one is documented with the client’s name withheld at their request.

Where does our data sit, and how does this work with the PDPA?

The assistant is normally deployed inside your own cloud account, so your documents and records stay in infrastructure you control and under your existing agreements. Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act is a design input from the first session: what personal data the model may reach, who may see which answer, how long conversations are kept, and what is logged. Your data protection officer sees that design before anything is built, and we work to their ruling rather than around it. Prompt logs, embeddings and customer data kept in an agreed region under Thailand PDPA (B.E. 2562).

What can a first OpenAI project realistically cover?

One use case, grounded in your own content, measured against a test set you agree. Support deflection, internal document search and a sales assistant are the three that come up most often. A narrow first release that genuinely works beats a broad one that has to be explained, and it gives you a real accuracy number to decide the next step with.

Can you take over an assistant we have already started?

Yes, and it is a normal starting point. The work begins with a review of what exists: the model, the prompts, how retrieval was built and what was measured. You get a plain assessment of what to keep, what to fix and what to rebuild before any build work is quoted. The HR assistant we rebuilt began on a different model and moved to OpenAI.

Do you work in Thai?

We work in English. Calls, documentation and support for Thailand are delivered in English by our Singapore team.

What does an OpenAI partner in Thailand do?

It helps organizations in Thailand put OpenAI’s artificial intelligence models to work on real business needs. In practice that means finding the use cases that pay back, building AI assistants and agents on the OpenAI API, connecting them to the systems you already run, and keeping them accurate, safe and affordable after launch.

What is the OpenAI Partner Network?

It is OpenAI’s partner network, announced in June 2026, for organizations that build, sell and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. According to OpenAI, it covers partners who co-sell, deploy, build or help customers connect to OpenAI technology, and gives them the resources, enablement and support they need to build AI practices.

Does OpenAI work with the Thai government?

Yes. OpenAI and Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) run the OpenAI x MHESI AI Accelerator, which takes Thai startups working across health, wellness and education through eight weeks of product work. It is delivered with partners including the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Mahidol University and Techsauce. MHESI will connect the teams with Thailand’s research and talent networks, NIA will link them to the country’s funding and growth ecosystem, and Mahidol University will contribute academic expertise and mentors. The first cohort includes teams from the AIAT × OpenAI Codex Hackathon Bangkok, and OpenAI will provide each team with API credits, technical guidance and a dedicated mentor. OpenAI describes the accelerator as its first public-private partnership with the Thai government focused on supporting local startups. It is a joint initiative of OpenAI and the Thai government, separate from the delivery work Brainvire does for your team.

Do you help teams adopt ChatGPT Enterprise?

Yes. Alongside custom builds on the OpenAI API, we help teams roll out ChatGPT Enterprise and ChatGPT Work: access rules, connections to your own data, usage guidelines and training for the people who will use them every day.

Can you build a voice agent on OpenAI?

Yes. OpenAI’s Realtime API supports speech-to-speech voice agents that work directly with audio, keep conversation state and call tools. A voice agent can answer routine calls or handle appointment scheduling, with the same guardrails, logging and handoff to a person as a text assistant.

Which sectors do your OpenAI builds cover?

Our documented OpenAI work spans education, information technology and financial services. Our wider AI engineering expertise covers retail, media, supply chain and financial services, for businesses across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The use cases repeat across sectors: support answers, document search, sales assistance and back-office automation.

Is our data used to train OpenAI models?

OpenAI states that data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve its models unless you explicitly opt in. Eligible customers can also apply for stricter data retention controls, which require approval from OpenAI. We review these settings with your data protection officer before any production data is sent.

How do you measure the benefits of a build?

Against a baseline you agree before the build starts, such as handling time, deflection rate, accuracy on a test set or hours saved on a document task. Evaluations run on every prompt or model change, so the benefits are measured before users see a change.

Will our own team build AI capability?

Yes. The code, prompts, evaluation suites and runbooks sit in your repositories and cloud accounts, and ownership is a commitment agreed in the contract before work starts. Your engineers work alongside ours, so the AI capability stays with your team after go-live.
