A Magento POS for Inventory Management. Every Store, on One System.

/ The engagement

A Magento POS Managing Warehouses, Stores, and Customers.

A leading telecom provider based in Dubai and the USA, with offices across five regions, wanted a point-of-sale system to run its retail side. Brainvire built the POS on Magento, an eCommerce platform where merchants sell products, with barcode scanning, role-based access, multiple payment options, and one place to manage every warehouse, store, and customer record.

/ About the client

Global Telecom Provider

The client hails from Dubai and is now based in the USA, with offices across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, West Asia, and North America. It is a leading telecom company offering cost-effective, secure data communications, from land-based fiber optics to satellite solutions for military and government, aiming to bring high-speed connectivity to markets with limited access.

As the client required, Brainvire built a POS solution on Magento technology, an eCommerce platform that lets merchants sell their products. The application manages all of the client's warehouses, stores, and customer information in one place.

/ The approach

Design, architecture, and features, shipped as one program.

/01Presence

Online across regions

The client operates worldwide, so the team built the POS to keep its retail presence consistent online across offices.

/02Transactions

Every order tracked

The client wanted full visibility, so the team built the system to track all transactions and orders placed.

/03Insight

Sales tied to customers

The client needed to read its market, so the team linked sales records to customers so the relationship between the two is clear.

/04Inventory

Managed by barcode

Stock had to stay accurate, so the team integrated barcode scanning to manage orders, products, and refunds.

/ What stood in the way

Keeping a worldwide presence

With offices across the world, the client wanted to hold a consistent online presence. We built the Magento POS so its retail operation runs the same way across regions.

Tracking every transaction

The client wanted to be aware of every transaction it made and every order it placed. We built the system to keep a full, trackable record of all transactions in one place.

Linking sales to customers

The client wanted to understand how its sales related to its customers. We linked sales records to customer data so the relationship between the two stays visible.

Managing inventory by barcode

Inventory had to be managed precisely. We integrated barcode scanning with the system so orders, products, and refunds are handled accurately.
