/ Credentials
Brainvire is an Adobe Solution Partner, specialised in Adobe Commerce. Behind your build: certified architects you meet before signing, deep Magento roots and one team from workshop to support.
The Adobe Gold Solution Partner tier is held at group level, and your store is built by the same certified Adobe practice. See our Adobe Commerce development services page.
Magento became Adobe Commerce, so a tender for either wants the same firm. Our record runs from Magento 1 rescues to Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service.
Your proposal names the architect and lead developer on your store and the Adobe Commerce certification each holds, and writes both into your statement of work.
Strategy, build, integration and support sit in one engagement, so the people who scope your store launch it and keep improving it.

/ Bahrain VAT
Standard-rated sales carry 10% VAT in Bahrain, and in Adobe Commerce that rate is one field. The real work is tax classes, the filing cycle and orders your ledger can invoice from.
Zero-rated and exempt lines need classes of their own, apart from the standard rate. We configure customer, product and shipping classes and their rule priorities before the first order is taken.
Article 48A sets monthly or quarterly filing by annual VATable supplies; Article 48C lets you apply to switch, with the Bureau’s approval. Order and refund exports follow whichever cycle you file on.
Your ledger normally raises the tax invoice. The store sends it the registered entity, per-line treatment, taxable value and tax apart, and linked credit notes. Our Bahrain Odoo team builds that side.
Neighbouring Gulf markets tax differently. Adobe Commerce holds each market’s rates and price display on one installation, and we decide which market sits where in the first workshop.
/ What we build
Eight practices under one contract. Most programmes open with two and phase in the rest: a narrow release your staff use beats a wide one they work around.
Catalogue, storefront, checkout and an Arabic store view for Bahraini retailers and trading houses, planned around how your range will grow.

Each stage ends in something you can use. Scope sets the calendar: 8 to 12 weeks for a small build, 12 to 24 weeks mid-market, 6 to 12 months enterprise, and 3 to 8 weeks for an upgrade.
Two workshops on catalogue shape, trade terms, the ledger, your acquirer and current channels. If Magento Open Source fits better than Adobe Commerce, we say it here.
Nothing is styled until stock, prices and customers have moved. Migration is rehearsed on a copy with a restore point at each step, and each sprint closes on working software.
Split deliveries, cancellations, refunds across a month end, trade buyers over their credit limit, refused cash-on-delivery parcels. Payments, ledger and couriers are tested together on each.
Go-live lands in a window that suits whoever closes your books. We stay through the first month end and returns, then turn to conversion, speed and the backlog.
/ Accelerators
Four components carried over from earlier Gulf programmes, so the riskiest steps on your roadmap start most of the way built.
Regular support for 2.4.6 closed 11 August 2026; extended support runs to 31 August 2027. Catalogue, customers, orders, content and rankings then move in a fixed, reversible sequence.
Parent and subsidiary accounts, per-user roles, catalogues priced per company, quotes and requisition lists, mapped to how your group is actually owned.
Gateway set-up and settlement matching, Arabic through store, account area and email, bilingual invoices, and address fields built for how Manama buyers write an address.
Stock, pricing and invoicing stay in Odoo while Adobe Commerce runs the storefront and trade accounts. The Saudi FMCG distributor above runs on this pattern, and one team builds both sides.
/ Checkout and language
Three things decide a Bahraini build: cards clearing through your bank’s acquirer, a catalogue that reads both ways, and room for more Gulf markets. Each belongs in the estimate.
The Central Bank of Bahrain authorised BENEFIT to run the transfer system linking every commercial bank. Your store reaches it through your acquirer, which we set as the primary payment method.
We store the acquirer reference on each Adobe Commerce order, so every settlement line traces back to its basket and month end becomes a report, not a spreadsheet job.
Your Arabic shop is a full store view, not a plugin: menus, checkout, account pages, emails and invoices mirror right to left, and product titles and search terms are translated too.
Adobe’s hierarchy runs global, website, store, store view. Whether Saudi Arabia becomes a second website or a second store view decides if the next market costs a sprint or a project.

/ The questions buyers ask us
Yes. Your Bahrain programme gets a dedicated team that comes to Manama for discovery workshops, staff training and go-live, during normal working hours in Bahrain. Start on our Bahrain contact page or our global presence page.
Yes. Brainvire is an Adobe Solution Partner, specialised in Adobe Commerce, and the Adobe Gold Solution Partner tier is held at group level. That tier stands behind every Bahraini build, and you meet the certified people assigned to yours during scoping.
Start with the five case cards on this page: Rev-A-Shelf converts 5.4X better since leaving Magento, a UAE holding group serves 10 countries from one platform, and 2XL Home grew transactions 42.3%. Each opens the full case study.
The calculation, not the return. Tax classes apply 10% to standard-rated lines and the right treatment to zero-rated, exempt and export lines, while your ledger raises the invoice and the return. The National Bureau for Revenue has published no e-invoicing mandate, so we keep order data structured and ready for one.
Through your acquirer. BENEFIT links every commercial bank in Bahrain and reaches Adobe Commerce through the gateway your bank supports, set up as the primary method. Cash on delivery is still common, so we build in its order-value ceiling, area rules and the return path for refused parcels.
Adobe Commerce, if trade accounts buy on contracted prices or several brands and markets share one catalogue. A consumer store with a few hundred lines rarely needs the licence; Magento Open Source or Shopify for Bahrain usually fits, and we say which.
Between eight weeks and a year, depending on scope. Small builds run 8 to 12 weeks, mid-market 12 to 24 weeks and enterprise 6 to 12 months; an upgrade alone takes 3 to 8 weeks. Cost follows integrations, catalogue clean-up, markets, languages and custom work, quoted against a written scope.
Yes, as two store views sharing one catalogue, stock and price. The Arabic view runs right to left through menus, basket, account area, email notifications and printed documents, and an Arabic reader reviews every template. Project meetings, documentation and support run in English.
Yes, before extended support ends. Regular support for 2.4.6 closed 11 August 2026 and extended support runs out 31 August 2027; 2.4.8 has regular support to 31 May 2028. We upgrade in rehearsed, reversible steps on a copy, so no weekend carries the risk.
Yes, and for most Bahraini trading businesses it is the right split: stock, pricing and the ledger stay in the ERP, while Adobe Commerce runs the storefront and trade accounts. The FMCG distributor above takes its prices from Odoo. See our Odoo page for Bahrain and our Odoo partner credentials.
