BigCommerce store development
Stencil storefronts built for speed and conversion, with baht pricing and 7% VAT calculated per line rather than bolted on at the cart.
AI search and merchandising/ BigCommerce for Thailand · delivered from our Singapore office on Thai hours
We build BigCommerce storefronts that sit on your ERP, catalogue and fulfilment, delivered from our Singapore office on Thai working hours (UTC+7), with calls and demos on Bangkok time.
/ Why teams pick BigCommerce
BigCommerce puts hosting, security and platform updates on the vendor and leaves your team the storefront and the integrations. That trade suits a lean team in Bangkok far better than owning a server and a plugin estate.
Hosting, certificates, PCI scope and platform upgrades sit with the vendor, so your two developers are not also your systems administrators.
Where a self-hosted platform reaches for a plugin, BigCommerce reaches for an API. Both our published builds run custom middleware into an Aptean ERP.
Customer groups, price lists, quotes and purchase order payment are part of the platform rather than an add-on you maintain.
Stencil themes for speed of change, or a headless front end where the catalogue and content genuinely need one.
Web store, marketplace listings and social selling from a single product record, which is how most Thai brands actually sell.
Search, recommendations, catalogue copy and support triage, engineered in and measured, rather than switched on and hoped for.

/ What we build
Store build, migration, ERP middleware and the trade rules underneath, under one accountable team.
Stencil storefronts built for speed and conversion, with baht pricing and 7% VAT calculated per line rather than bolted on at the cart.
AI search and merchandisingCatalogue, customers, orders and SEO equity moved onto BigCommerce with the systems behind the store kept running, as on the Game Exchange move.
AI-mapped data migrationCustom middleware into Aptean, Odoo, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, so stock, price and order status hold one value everywhere.
AI-mapped API integrationCustomer groups, price lists, quote to order and purchase order payment, for brands selling to dealers as well as shoppers.
AI quote and margin checksPromptPay and Thai QR, cards and instalments, cash on delivery, plus Kerry, Flash and Thailand Post rates and labels at checkout.
AI fraud scoring at checkoutA composable front end on the BigCommerce APIs where the catalogue, the content or the app genuinely needs one.
AI performance budgetingStorefronts built to WCAG and ADA guidelines, as on the SCi build, so an audit is a review rather than a rebuild.
AI-assisted accessibility checksCore Web Vitals, conversion work and managed support after launch, measured on the connections your customers use.
AI-triaged monitoring, 24x7/ How we deliver
Four stages, a named owner, and a working store you can click through long before launch day.
We check BigCommerce against your catalogue, your trade rules and your ERP, and say plainly if another platform fits better.
Storefront and integration are built together, because on a SaaS platform the integration is the project.
Data moves in staged runs, and every count is reconciled against the source before the switch is even scheduled.
We cut over with the old system still reachable, watch the first trading days closely, then tune what the numbers show.
/ Beyond BigCommerce
BigCommerce is one of five commerce platforms we run. The audit comes before the recommendation, and sometimes the recommendation is not this one.
The other hosted option, with the larger app ecosystem and a Shopify Plus Partner behind it.
Open source commerce on WordPress, when the content and the store are the same product.
Enterprise commerce from an Adobe Gold Solution Partner, for catalogues a SaaS platform would limit.
If the real problem is behind the store rather than in it, start with the ERP.

The verticals where a hosted platform plus a real ERP integration beats owning a server, applied to how Thai brands actually trade.
One product record feeding web store, marketplace listings and social selling, which is the shape most sellers here need.

/ Delivered for Thailand
What a BigCommerce programme actually looks like when the team delivering it is not in the country, and a straight note on where the proof stands.
Thai VAT 7% and e-Tax Invoice in the order flow; Lazada and Shopee synced in THB.
Stand-ups, sprint reviews and release windows are scheduled to Indochina Time, with 1,000+ engineers behind the delivery lead who fronts your programme. There is no Bangkok office; there is a team that keeps your hours.
Integration code is written in your repository against a field ownership map we agree first, so the connection between store and ERP is an asset you keep rather than a dependency on us.
The platform runs the servers; you remain the data controller. Consent, retention and data subject requests are designed into the store from scoping, and every cross-border data path is written down.
We have no Thai BigCommerce case and no APAC one. What we have is a documented ERP integration pattern, a team that keeps your hours, and a preference for saying that plainly.
/ Questions, answered
No. Our published BigCommerce record is two American builds, Game Exchange of Colorado and SCi, plus two further engagements whose cases name no client. None of them is Thai, and we would rather say that than let a page imply otherwise. Where we do have documented delivery for groups trading in Thailand it is Odoo, Magento and Adobe Commerce, on our Odoo ERP in Thailand and Adobe Commerce in Thailand pages.
No. Brainvire delivers to Thailand remotely from its offices in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, India and the wider region. Indochina Time overlaps a full working day with our delivery centres, so store walkthroughs, integration reviews and launch rehearsals happen inside your working hours. If you want people in Bangkok for a workshop, we will plan and price the travel.
Both are hosted, so the real comparison is elsewhere. BigCommerce puts more B2B behaviour, faceted search and multi storefront handling in the platform itself, with no transaction fee on its own gateway. Shopify Plus has the deeper app ecosystem and the larger pool of people who already know it. If your catalogue is large, your pricing is per customer group and your ERP is the centre of the business, BigCommerce usually needs fewer apps to get there. We audit before we recommend, and our Shopify practice is on the same site.
When the storefront needs behaviour the platform will not give up. Deep custom checkout logic, very large multi site estates with separate codebases, or a catalogue whose rules really do need server-side control push you towards Adobe Commerce or Magento. Saying that at the audit stage costs an afternoon. Finding it out after launch costs a rebuild.
Yes, and the detail decides whether your accountant trusts it. Prices are held so rounding does not drift, 7% VAT is calculated per line rather than on a cart total, and the tax invoice fields a Thai buyer needs, including the thirteen digit taxpayer identification number and branch code, are captured at checkout. Buddhist Era dates are handled where documents are produced, so a printed invoice reads correctly.
PromptPay and Thai QR, domestic and international cards, bank transfer with slip verification, instalment plans and cash on delivery, which is still a real share of orders outside the largest cities. On delivery we integrate rate lookup, label creation and tracking with Kerry Express, Flash Express and Thailand Post, so changing courier is a configuration change rather than a project.
Yes, with engineering rather than a language setting. Thai is written without spaces between words, so search and text truncation need segmentation, and a splitter written for English will cut a word in half and quietly damage on-site search. Thai tone marks sit above the line and get clipped by line heights chosen for Latin type. Addresses run subdistrict, district and province. We handle that in the theme and test it on your own catalogue.
Through middleware we write and own with you, which is exactly what both published cases are. SCi runs custom middleware into Aptean with the data converted into the format Aptean expects. Game Exchange kept an Aptean Southware ERP live through a whole platform migration. The same pattern extends to Odoo, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, and the first thing we agree is which system owns each field.
Hosted does not mean handled. Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act still applies to you as the controller, so we design consent capture at the point of collection, keep marketing consent separate from transactional consent, set retention per data type, and build the export and deletion routes a data subject request needs. Where the platform or an app moves personal data across a border, that is written down at design time rather than discovered at security review.
We work in English. Calls, documentation and support for Thailand are delivered in English by our Singapore team.
