About Project

The client is an American provider of fuel cell power solutions known for their products that work smoothly in sync with solar and storage to extend power backup. The solutions are cost-effective, virtually silent, carbon-efficient, and transform natural gas into electricity. The client wanted to customize their manufacturing and timesheet modules, vendors, and purchase orders to cater to their specific needs. Additionally, the company wanted the material to move from the inventory account to the work in progress (WIP) account while the production was ongoing. Moreover, they wanted to create an approval process for sales, purchase, and credit limits with the help of a Odoo Partner.

What we did

Our team deployed several Retail IT solutions to cater to the client’s needs. We transformed the website from Odoo SaaS 14 to Odoo.sh through Odoo ERP Migration Services as certain features were unavailable in Odoo Out of the Box. Further, our experts helped the client track key components and their subcomponents to ensure a smooth manufacturing process. We integrated Solidworks with Odoo to help the employees access the manufacturing designs in one place. Further, we customized the movement of orders in and out of the Work in Progress (WIP) account to ensure better tracking. The multi-level purchase and credit approval process further ensured efficiency.
