The Magento Imagine eCommerce event finally kicked off with a great response from over 1900 Merchants, Partners, Developers, Magento development Companies and Open Source enthusiasts! A lot of excitement and high energy levels filled the air when some familiar faces met and some new business relationships were initiated. Las Vegas saw a smashing start of an “orange” Magento event with a spark of new ideas and new partnerships with a potential to foster growth and set new trends in the field of Magento ecommerce solutions.
Brainvire attended this conference and is proud to present you with the day 1 highlights that included the following events and sessions:
- The day started off with Magento’s on-site Magento 2 Developer Certification. This program already has 2900 certified developers and the Imagine event looks forward to increase these numbers and include as many developers as possible to get certified!
- The afternoon session covered Magento’s multi-site architecture conducted by Magento’s U team and covered a whole array of topics on Magento ecommerce development like understanding functionality of multi website business and how to leverage from the Magento platform’s full capabilities.
- Late afternoon saw the commencement of “Imagine & Marketplace Grand Opening” at the Muse Hall. Over 100 exhibitors participated and merchants, partners, Magento development companies and developers took up this opportunity to connect, internetwork and meet existing and new customers along with showcasing their Magento innovations.
- The most promising event of the day included two bar camps one for developers and one for designers. Bar Camps are short rapid fire sessions for developers and designers to learn about the latest trends and important topics in Magento web development.
Day 1 of the event concluded with a lot of happy smiles and satisfied professionals who either gained from, learnt from or contributed to the event to make it a grand success!
