Brainvire, a leader in digital transformation solutions and Enterprise AI development, announced a strategic project win with American Lighting, Inc., a major North American manufacturer of innovative LED lighting solutions, for residential, commercial, seasonal, and specialty applications.

This significant engagement involves the architecture and implementation of a two-phase, industry-specific AI system designed to modernize customer support and sales processes by handling the complex technical requirements unique to lighting products. The project will leverage Brainvire’s deep expertise in AI solution architecture and Adobe Commerce integration.

American Lighting, an existing Brainvire client, approached Brainvire because of their dual expertise in Adobe Commerce and AI implementation. Focusing on energy efficiency and customer satisfaction with its high-quality luminaires, lighting controls, retrofit services, and technical support, the client required a solution that could manage the high technical complexity inherent in lighting specifications, including accurate voltage calculations, DMX configurations (the standard protocol for controlling lighting), color temperature specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) generation.

The solution must maintain accuracy and provide context-aware assistance to both internal agents and customers, as general-purpose chatbots are typically ill-equipped for this level of technical precision, creating friction for both internal teams and customers.

Brainvire is addressing this challenge by developing two highly specialized, context-aware AI tools: the Agent Assistant, an internal efficiency tool embedded directly within the company's order and quote screens, and the Customer Chatbot, a customer-facing solution integrated into the Adobe Commerce platform.

The core of the solution is a robust Data pipeline development process designed to feed real-time pricing, inventory data, and deep technical specs (like PDF-extracted wiring diagrams) into the AI models, ensuring data pipeline automation and maintaining data integrity across multiple systems of record.

The internal Agent Assistant is built to empower American Lighting's sales and support agents with instant, context-aware information. This tool detects the active customer, quote/order ID, and line items, facilitating real-time customer-specific pricing and inventory lookups. It offers comprehensive technical specification retrieval, including spec sheets, installation manuals, and wiring diagrams. A critical capability is BOM generation from vague requirements with power calculations and compatibility notes, all while displaying a confidence score.

To streamline communication, the assistant provides copy-paste-ready outputs for email correspondence, secured by role-based access controls, thus focusing on boosting internal efficiency and technical accuracy.

The external Customer Chatbot offers a revolutionary way for B2B customers to interact with the product catalog. Key features include conversational product discovery and technical support, enabling customers to use natural language inputs for complex requests and scenario-based quoting.

What’s more, the system integrates the ACE (Advanced Configuration Engine) via chat, featuring conversational ACE configuration matching existing UI validations. For authenticated users, the system provides authenticated pricing and maintains full conversation history.

The Custom UI/UX development features a three-column interface showing conversation history, live chat, and visual results, including product cards with images, PDFs, videos, and documentation. The chatbot provides inventory visibility alongside recommendations to prevent suggesting out-of-stock items and employs email gating and blacklist controls to prevent abuse by non-authenticated users.

For complex or low-confidence scenarios, the system ensures seamless Zendesk chatbot integration for customer service via automated escalation, maintaining session continuity. Technically, the solution will support brand-style wiring/DMX diagram rendering from PDF extraction, real-time pricing API integration based on customer account, multi-site deployment, and an admin dashboard with feature toggles and retention settings.
