Client owns an online fashion store or a B2B marketplace for every thing right from elegant clothing, accessories to beauty and life style products for men and women. The web site is also are puted fashion marketplace for the hand made, vintage, ethnic, organic and natural clothing and styling products.
The fashion store was facing some problems due to inappropriate product information entered by the vendors or sellers some times. Hence, in order to keep up with the quality of the information on their website, the client wanted a moderator system that can keep a check on the data entered by the vendors on their site. They wanted a scrutiny system that can evaluate which information of products entered by the merchants on the website was right and which one was not appropriate.
The Craftsvilla client approached Brainvire with their requirement for a moderator system. Brainvire team did not take long to understand the client requirements and take up the project in their hands. They planned to build a moderator system based on PHP technology especially based on the Symfony 2 framework.The moderator system was custom designed from scratch to meet the client needs.
Initially the data was required to be fetched from the client's existing database which took a lot of time. Hence, we developed a stack which can fetch and save 250 data records from the database initially, so that whenever a user puts a request for data, the request is placed on the stack rather than the database. This reduces time taken to place a request and extract data from database and moreover,s cuts out the waiting time. An algorithm was developed for efficient assigning of data to the users according to resources available.
