About Client
The client’s platform is a music and dance program for infants through elementary school-aged kids and the adults who care for them. This program is a virtual music player, allowing listeners to play songs from various libraries. All they have to do is press play or pause. They'll take their favorite tunes with them wherever they go by downloading them.
About Product
The client wants to revamp an existing mobile app. Users can sign up for an account to peruse curated music collections, locate nearby workshops, and select a sing-along storybook. Also, it will be possible for users to listen to music from the library. This is why we've standardized on a single code base. Moreover, we have implemented the software's cutting-edge user interface and user experience changes. When complete, they'll be able to distribute the app in all markets, including Apple's iOS App Store, Google Play, and Huawei's app store in China.
Single Code Base
The customer requested we use a unified code base.
Because of the complexity of maintaining multiple code bases, our developers have proposed a hybrid technology called flutter for a single code base.
Solution
The Challenges
Result
- ScalableThe application's code has been consolidated into a single location, eliminating the previous requirement to track and update two distinct code sets. As a result, the cost of upkeep will go down, too.
- Wider Audience BaseIt will result in a rise in the number of people using the program.
- Easy In-Car PlayThere will be no problems with the in-car entertainment for the users.
- Offline SupportUsers can still use their apps without an internet connection and listen to music they've already downloaded.
