Unique Mobile App Connects Church Disciples During COVID-19 For A Leading Firm

April 27, 2020, Dallas, USA

Brainvire team created an innovative application to enable the disciples to create fresh expressions with churches and fellow disciples. The client leads an international movement of missionary disciples, cultivating new kinds of churches alongside existing congregations to more effectively engage our growing post-Christian society. Initiated in 2004 as an initiative of the Church of England and the British Methodist Church, the missionary movement has resulted in the birth of thousands of new communities in the UK and renewed other established churches. The movement has spread to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and Germany. Brainvire vouched for the client to create a new app that would help people connect, and inspire them during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The client's primary vision was to enable followers to view and create Fresh Expressions (FX) events, post feeds, access to the latest resources, which include pioneer resources and FX resources. The client approached Brainvire with little idea about the latest technologies used in mobile application development. Brainvire's consultants recommended the use of DevOps architecture and AWS for the development of the application. Post-development, users were able to purchase premium resources, create events, add their own resources, comment on the posts, and much more.

The client wanted users to be able to view high-quality and lengthy videos on the mobile app. Brainvire's experts made this possible by implementing Ionic plugins into the application. Another issue was that the application was placing excessive load when running on multiple instances. This was resolved by implementing an elastic load balancer in the app's framework. The app was deployed on the secure AWS infrastructure.

Since the client had little idea about the technical capabilities of cloud services, Brainvire's experts demonstrated the power of AWS cloud servers and migrated the entire app data to the cloud.

"During these difficult and uncertain times, it is important for people to stay connected through fah and spirituality. Brainvire experts understand this need and the mobile application will allow followers and disciples to remain connected without going to church," said Mr. Chintan Shah, CEO of Brainvire Infotech.

Brainvire created the app in such a way that it allows users to create new events with a few taps on the mobile app. The app enables users to post comments, like others' posts, and interact with other like-minded users. The app has a unique subscription feature that allows users to access resources digitally.
