The client is a worldwide leader in the procurement and sale of metalworking machinery, fabricating equipment, and complete manufacturing facilities. It is involved in online and on-site auctions and liquidations, asset management programs, appraisals, financing, plant turnaround, and business sales. As a full-service stocking dealer, it also offers an extensive inventory and consignment selection of more than 1000 late-model machine tools.

The client approached us to create a digital platform that can interconnect its business processes and while providing scalability and improving efficiency.

To meet the goals and business objectives of the client, we used .NET technologies and Azure development Services. The web portal helps maintain a single interface for inventory, quotations, and orders. In addition, on third-party auction platforms, the client can connect with its current clients and advertise the goods.

The analytics are translated by the system into graphical insights and can be interpreted easily by the end-users. The web application is an excellent instrument for embracing digital transformation in the manufacturing sector, with a stable and scalable architecture.

For the web application, the team developed a new MVC-based architecture and also designed a database that is compatible with both the mobile app and the website. The web application was integrated with Quickbooks. The scheme is immediately able to handle invoices, produce payrolls, and clear pending dues.

The developers built an Outlook plugin that allows the user to use a simple interface to sync email data with the web application database. It allows them to keep a historical view of communications and use the data for their inventory.
