The primary objective of this project is to replace their previous Hand Held Device (HHD) used for printing price and LPN labels with a cross-platform mobile application available on both iOS and Android devices. The client approached Brainvire to create a Proof of Concept (POC) for the mobile app. Our team comprehensively understood the client’s requirements and provided them with a POC timeline. As a result, we assisted in successfully delivering the desired product.

The client provided us with a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) that defined the project's scope and requirements. Our Brainvire team carefully analyzed the document and addressed any concerns with the client by preparing queries and verifying our understanding. Once we were confident that we fully understood the requirements, we created a Statement of Work and shared a timeline with the client to initiate the project.
We aimed to develop a cross-platform mobile application that could operate on iOS and Android platforms. The application's primary purpose was to enable users to print two types of labels by connecting to a printer via Bluetooth in both online and offline modes.
To achieve this, we developed a React Native mobile application for the end user. The price label printing function allowed users to scan or manually enter barcode numbers, and data would be fetched from the ERP system's APIs. Users could then choose specific label dimensions from a predefined list of sizes, and the data would be sent for printing. In offline mode, the application would fetch the data to be printed from an Excel sheet uploaded in the admin panel by integrating backend APIs.
Our mobile application provides seamless label printing functionality. Users can easily print labels by connecting to a printer via Bluetooth.
Similarly, the LPN label printing function allowed users to enter the ASN number, and the application would fetch the data from the ERP system's APIs and send it to the printer. In offline mode, the data would be fetched from an Excel sheet uploaded in the admin panel based on the entered ASN number.
We developed the Admin Panel using Microsoft .NET, and administrators could upload Excel files for price printing and LPN label printing in a specific format for offline mode.
