About Client

Client is a leading player in cash management solutions for BFSI and Retail Sector in India. The client is an expert at outsourcing the most reliable cash management solutions to the corporates with real time information, safety, accuracy, regulatory compliance and cost efficiency ensured.

Business Challenges

The client wanted to develop an ERP software or ERP application to:

  • Automate their existing Cash-In- Transit process an add efficiency and reduce time consumed in the process
  • Automate and regulate daily pick to delivery process for better administration and dynamic reporting on process and status
  • Help management to track all the activities of the process right from placing order to delivery order
  • Allow clients for placing their orders and check order statuses, access reports, etc.
  • Generate all types of reports and extract accurate data from the system for administrative tasks
  • The client also required a mobile application to enable their users to carry out their daily operational tasks through mobile from any location.

Solution

Understanding all the needs of the client, the Brainvire team planned to develop an ERP solution using the ASP.NET platform. Advanced technologies like MVC, Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON and AngularJS were executed in the project to develop a customized functionality in the software as per the needs of the client.

Features

  • A comprehensive ERP solution was developed which could be used by admin as well as the clients and facilitate them with order input and update as well as stock monitoring and management.
  • Secure system was built with encryptions on the database to ensure complete safety of the critical data transferred between and stored in their system.
  • Developed a reliable web application with mobility features, which can be accessed by all the users from the mobile devices. The application works to automatically synchronize with operational tasks once connected with the internet and is also accessible to all the users even without the internet with already synchronized data.
  • A mobile application was developed to help the staff with an efficient pick up to delivery process by facilitating with things like QR code scanning, additional order creation, the route set up, reconciliation etc.
  • A complex reconciliation module was created to avoid all the bugs and error that may happen in calculations
  • The application to cater to the needs of the client like helping them with placing of orders and check order statuses and accessing reports was developed
  • Connectivity between the central system, mobile user and branches was essential
  • Real-time data access for all operation branch and set security access based on user wise

Achievements

  • A reliable software was developed for central management by operators and to meet the needs of the branch users as well as the end-clients.
  • More than 20 pre-defined reports were developed for different types of users. The detailed requirement gathering was done that helped setting up a well-designed system with all the modules integrated into it along with the control over user access.
