Chintan Shah from Brainvire and Mohammed ALTharwa from GAFCO were covered in a candid conversation at Odoo Experience 2021 on 7th October 2021.
At the beginning of the conversation, Mohammed shared crucial business challenges they were facing before they approached Brainvire. He stated, “We faced a lot of communication gaps across departments, stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors. As a result, our team struggled to complete daily tasks, and this reduced business efficiency.” This made GAFCO realize that there is a need for change and directed the brand towards technological advancement.

Post this realization, they started searching for ERP systems, and that’s how they came across Brainvire and met Chintan.

He further elaborated that modular Odoo and its open architecture was a perfect match for GAFCO to eliminate all their pain points. Brainvire also brainstormed for other business solutions, but Odoo facilitated better collaboration tools and ease of use across departments.
Chintan also highlighted that Odoo’s implementation ensured that GAFCO adopted digital transformation through a single system source. Brainvire knew that the digital transformation journey is continuous and that GAFCO required a user-friendly and unified system to adapt to this transformation conveniently.
The host then inquired Mohammed about how comfortable their Accounting team was towards this new change. He said that the management asked the team for an ideal process they would prefer in the coming years; they also roped in the production team to pitch in because managing 220 products and hundreds of SKUs is a daunting task.
Brainvire’s roadmap aligned with the team’s inputs, and hence, together, Brainvire and GAFCO began a new journey.
During the event, Chintan Shah also mentioned that Brainvire considered the client’s best interest and ROI while designing the roadmap. In this instance, Brainvire was well aware that Odoo could automate GAFCO’s entire internal process. While in the future, the introduction of AI/ML solutions can automate processes, responses, and analysis.
Altogether, Odoo-GAFCO-Brainvire was a seamless collaboration, one that can be marked in the history of Odoo Experience 2021.
