eBay enterprise, an eBay Inc. company announced on April 21, 2015 that it is now the number one eCommerce platform provider in the list of 2015 Internet Retailer top 500.
The number has retailers of eBay enterprise platforms, including Magento are increased up to 67 retailers now, from 56 in the year 2014. Magento, which had 34 merchants in the year 2014, have 47 now in 2015, moving to the second position in the Internet Retailer Top 500 list, showing the scalability of the platform and ability to support retailers, earning millions of dollars annually online.
In the first quarter itself of the year 2015, eBay reinforced its portfolio winning 200 new customers, some of which included Adidas, Volvo and Mindshare, to name a few. In addition to that, it has come up with a new marketing strategy which is focused on commerce named ‘THE SHOP”.
