A Magento Storefront Moved to Odoo 16. One Platform for Commerce and ERP.

We replaced the Magento shopping cart with Odoo commerce and moved the client from Odoo 13 to Odoo 16, so the storefront and the back office run on one interconnected platform with real-time synchronization and no API connector between them.

Bay Alarm MedicalBay Alarm Medical is working on expanding people's ability to get the preventative health care they need. It offers state-of-the-art medical alert devices and one of the most dependable domestic 24-hour medical alarm emergency contact centers, devices that can act as lifesavers for people with limited mobility or serious health issues.
Bay Alarm had an existing eCommerce website powered by Magento commerce, but it needed to be faster and more responsive. We suggested switching from the Magento shopping cart to the Odoo shopping cart, which also resolved their real-time synchronization issue.

Odoo 13 to Odoo 16
Our Odoo experts migrated the system from an older Odoo 13 version to the latest Odoo 16, for enhanced functionality and capability.
Magento replaced
We replaced Magento with an Odoo commerce solution for faster speed, so the storefront runs on the same platform as the back office.
No connector required
Providing Odoo as a complete solution for managing backend operations and eCommerce eliminates the necessity of an API between the two systems.
Dashboards out of the box
As Odoo partners, we implemented Odoo 16 equipped with out-of-the-box functionalities, giving the team the reporting and dashboards the older version lacked.

Running an older Odoo version
The client's existing Odoo version was old and suffered from several limitations. Our Odoo experts migrated the system from an older Odoo 13 version to the latest Odoo version 16, for enhanced functionality and capability.
High loading time
The eCommerce website was developed by leveraging Magento, which impacted the overall loading time of the website. We replaced Magento with an Odoo commerce solution for faster speed.
API integration overhead
API integration with a connector was enabled to communicate ERP and eCommerce. Providing Odoo as a complete solution for managing backend operations and eCommerce eliminates the necessity of API.
Improper data representation
The older version of Odoo did not have any reporting system or a dashboard. As Odoo partners, we implemented Odoo 16 equipped with out-of-the-box functionalities.
