About Client
An emergency food bank in Singapore was determined to be necessary after more than a decade of studying the industry's escalating costs and waste. An organization called FBSG collects donated food that would otherwise be thrown out from farms and other businesses, as well as from restaurants and customers. Then, it distributes it to needy people via its network of member beneficiaries. Food bank operations are centralized with Brainvire's help, including inventory management, the approval of recipients, and alerts for inactive beneficiaries.
About Product
With Brainvire's assistance, it is possible to use the Odoo ERP system to consolidate all of the organization's inventory activities and keep track of beneficiaries and their orders, donors, and other types of donations, such as food and monetary donations. The management system handles donor profiles, financial donation, and food donation administration. Also, the app enables a volunteer to input stock, run a stocktake, and handle all picking orders via mobile device—an accounting system for managing the structure of non-profit organizations.

A solution was found by mapping real SKUs to food bank-determined SKUs at Brainvire. Additionally, we supplied a method for automatically generating barcodes for each SKU.
