Brainvire has partnered with a prominent retailer on a strategic project to develop a dynamic mobile application inspired by their existing website. The new app will support iOS and Android platforms and focus on enhancing user engagement through a refined, intuitive interface.
It will incorporate essential e-commerce functionalities such as seamless navigation, advanced product search, a streamlined shopping cart, secure checkout processes, and robust order-tracking capabilities. Features like Gift Cards and click-and-collect will offer added convenience and flexibility, further enriching the customer experience.
The project scope includes a comprehensive range of deliverables: a detailed project plan, weekly status updates each Wednesday, and full access to Azure Boards. The initial stages will involve a kick-off presentation, technical architecture design, and the creation of user-centric design prototypes and user stories.
Core development will be handled through Flutter, ensuring smooth cross-platform functionality. Key elements include change management logs, source code availability, Arabic language support, and multi-country and multi-currency compatibility.
The app will offer a user-friendly design with various screens, including splash, onboarding, social login, home, search, product details, and checkout. Key features include digital wallet support, deep linking for seamless page navigation and push notifications. Also, it will enhance eCommerce functionality, such as price alerts, a watch services module, and eGift cards, which will add value for users. Additionally, payment options will include Apple Pay to streamline mobile transactions.
The app will introduce exciting new features in upcoming phases. In MVP 2, users will enjoy enhanced functionalities such as delivery schedules, bundle product offerings, physical gift cards, customizable add-ons (like flowers and cakes), and engraving options for select items.
Moving into MVP 3, the app will further evolve with NFC-enabled product scans, pedometer chip integration, support ticketing, newsletter subscriptions, iPad and tablet compatibility, and the addition of dark mode for a more personalized experience. These upgrades will significantly elevate the user journey and expand the app's capabilities.
