Recycling Alternative, with the vision to make the earth clean by reducing waste and pollution, has been involved in waste management and recycling innovations for the past 30 years. They pioneered the greenHUB, Vancouver’s first recycling co-location model, in partnership with the Downtown Eastside nonprofit bottle depot United We Can. The client built machines to convert recyclable waste into immature compost to live their vision. They want a website to track those machines, educate people, and spread awareness about waste recycling.

Project Highlights

The client wants to develop a SaaS-based website. Its subscription-based model caters to malls, factories, and conventional store owners to help them with their waste and recycling processes. The website allows users to provide insights about composters, diversion reports, and educational content. The reports help users identify diversions between recycling and non-recycling waste. Whereas the educational platform helps increase awareness about recycling and how to manage waste and machines.

    Implementing the online educational system to spread awareness and educate users about waste segregation and management. The client would no longer need physical training sessions to help users learn about machines and waste segregation.
