The client runs an electronic program guide and TV search technology company that works with the behemoths TV operators and networks across Asia. Besides, the company built the solutions for a myriad of connected devices for TV service providers and broadcast networks to enable the people easily access the TV channel related info.
Business Challenges
The client is having an online presence with which the users can easily navigate, choose or search TV content; allow users to set the TV channel preferences; link the users’ preferences with digital TV platforms; enhance the average revenue per users through cross-selling, upgrades or upsell. With the web presence, the client is not able to hold the traction of mobile users and then realized that an increasing number of TV viewers prefer to watch TV channels or do the transaction with mobile. So, he wanted to develop the mobile app that works across major iOS and Android platforms.

The Android and iOS app were built that offer detailed information about TV channels and programs and allow easy tracking programs and schedules. There is a constant interaction between the web services, database services, and the mobile app during the runtime, and on every refresh, the app fetches all the required and relevant information within NO time.
