To combat the second wave of COVID-19, India required a safe and timely vaccination campaign. Individuals aged 18 and above are now eligible for vaccination under the new government guidelines, and vaccination supplies have comparatively increased.
All of these improvements made it possible for Brainvire to organize a vaccination drive for Brainers and their families. It is one of its kind initiatives in Ahmedabad where a corporate organization has set up a walk-in or drive-in vaccination facility.
The vaccination drive was held in collaboration with Shalby Hospital on June 12 from 09:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. Brainers can either opt for Covaxin or Covishield.
All the precautionary measures were planned in advance, and the entire vaccination process took about two hours. Those with comorbidities like diabetes and hypertension and a couple of pregnant employees received prior approval from doctors present at the location.
A healthy breakfast before vaccination, careful sanitizer placement, and social distancing contributed to a stress-free vaccination experience.
Brainers were ecstatic to capture a moment in the #TickettoSafety frame and post it to their social media profiles. This public awareness prompted others to get vaccinated as well.
