About Client

The client is in the drop ship vendor management business. Here, thecustomer gives the order then sales order is generated towards vendors, and accordingly shipment process takes its shape.

Business Challenges

Their system was using DTCMO and WS interlink for managing orders and for thesolution of vendor portals. Sales orders were created using DTC-MO system. POs generated and then WS interlink (WSIN) interfaces with POs. Vendors could view the orders and the process of fulfilling orders, shipment and invoice generation used to happen via WSIN.The client had a vision of incorporating Sterling OMS and a strong UI instead of DTCMO and WS interlink.Also, theclient wanted DS fulfillment process more robust and standard.

Solution

With experienced developers on Sterling management system, Brainvire’s team came up with excellent vendor UI portal and OMS.Now, the Web store and DTCMO capture orders and the orders are connected to Sterling. ECDD calculations, thecreation of DS PO and sourcing decision are handled by Sterling. On theportal, thevendors can view, manage and do shipping arrangements. Sterling communicates with DTCMO and Larsen for shipping and vendor invoice.
