Brainvire Improved Lottery Platform Functionalities for Better Outcomes

Our newest client, Lottery Current, is a website and mobile app that provides lottery participants with up-to-the-minute information on game outcomes, news, and random number generators for games played across the United States. Lotterycurrent.com allows users to keep track of their weekly lottery spending by scanning tickets (for a fee on the mobile app) and notifying them if they've won.
Project Highlights
Brainvire created the client's website from the ground up. Since the site's pre-existing features were malfunctioning, they reached out to Brainvire for in-depth analysis and recommendations on how to improve the user experience. Customers can view their order summary, grand total, and current pricing without ever leaving the home page. There were two user interfaces and an admin interface to choose from. For the user, the most troublesome element of the process was actually obtaining the desired data.
The Challenges
- Select the Winner:Determine if the current player is the one winning.
- Mobile Application for Data Handling:Needed a mobile app to access pre-existing screens
- Changes to an XML file:Since an XML file is used to retrieve the lottery feed, the customer wishes to modify the file.
- Convenient Subscription model:Needed a subscription option for accessing select features, all of which will constantly be evolving.

Implemented Scanner flow
Incorporated intuitive scanning to check winner - two fields appear for selecting a state and the game type, and then the option to scan the lottery ticket.Expense Tracker
To track how much users spend on the lottery, add all the game and jackpot-related data in the app, and the user can see the game's name, date & time, and the ticket price.Content Feeds will be Saved in the Database
