The client is a Dubai based a leading property dealer company with presence in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and London as well. The client contains a renting portal that acts as a bridge between both tenants and landlords. The aim of the business is to provide affordable housing and commercial solution to the people who need it and can’t spare a time on searching physically. In addition to that, the portal gives landlords a gateway to reach out to maximum users without spending a single penny on the promotion. Brainvire crafted a web application for the client and being completely satisfied with it, the client contacted Brainvire again for its mobile application.

Project Highlights

The product is a mobile application that acts as a portal between property owners and property seekers. The application contains two separate modes for both tenants and landlords, such as the property showcase, information editing, profiles etc. The mobile application is crafted in a way that the person from anywhere in the world can look into the details and search the right property before actually shifting to the place. The Challenges

  • Payment Systems Establishment for iOS
    For the purchase payment transactions, iOS gives an access but for subscription, common payment gateways such as PayPal and Payfort can’t be used in iOS. iOS provides its own payment gateway but that charges more commission per transaction which isn’t at all an affordable solution.
  • Diversified Categories for search and Geolocation search
    The property search consisted of a lot of categories included. Fetching data from the database was a time-consuming task. Moreover, if the user clicks on geo-location search, the portal should take the live locations around and search accordingly.
  • Issues implementing Payfort integration
    Apart from PayPal, PayFort was also supposed to be integrated with the mobile application. But it was giving troubles crafting in PhoneGap based mobile app. This payment gateway was unavoidable as it was trending payment system in Middle East countries.
  • Display of each result in clickable dots on Google Map
    Once a user searches for particular properties, the results can come both the ways: list view and map view. The client wanted to display search result, in map view where the result can be shown as clickable dot point on the map. On clicking, it takes a user to property detail page.
