They wanted to build a new Magento platform using which they could manage all their different brand websites. Our efficient eCommerce development team created a retail eCommerce solution with a multi-website architecture through Magento development services. We also migrated their existing website from Magento 1 to Magento 2.
One of the challenges was upgrading the existing website. We suggested the development of a multi-site architecture of Magento and build a solution where all websites can be loaded from one setup. The data attributes in Magento 1 and Magento 2 were different and there was a large amount of data. The Magento platform offers greater accuracy after migration. We centralized the product, pricing, and promo catalog for admin staff to one panel. The multi-website structure allowed for ease of expansion to new store views for new country markets.
