The behemoth is associated with partners in 28 countries and has corporate clients that range from high-end MNC’s to SMEs. Moreover, the client has collaborated with over 70 universities worldwide. The company helps students to get their hands on various experiential learning programs globally.

Business Challenges

Finding a good college is a tough job indeed. Students have to refer numerous websites, newspaper ads, and third party dealers to find a best overseas college as per their preference. This is a quite time consuming task and when it comes to third-party services, it involves an ample sum of brokerage. At present, there are hardly a few college search apps or admission portals available where global students can apply for Indian colleges. The client came up with a fascinating vision and strategy of developing an education portal for students willing to study overseas. So, developing this platform was one of a kind and a great idea. They wanted to build a platform where foreign students could easily search for courses and colleges available worldwide and apply for the same.


A web and mobile application were developed, which would make applying for foreign universities a smoother process for students.

The comprehensive projects brought so many challenges on the top of the table that are:
  • The first challenge was involved in triggering the SMS or Email after a specific interval when the student  starts filling the courses to apply form and left in between. To resolve the challenge, the time is fixed for CRON jobs to run on the API so that the alerts will be sent after a defined time interval.
  • During profile update, when the student updates any fields, then the information must be updated on every platform and the email or SMS have to be triggered for any changes made, to the students, which was difficult to implement. It was resolved by creating an API that collects the changes from the front- end, and then send the same to the server.
