The USA-based client is a doctor and associated with Healthcare industry and other leading organizations. The client wanted to develop comprehensive and multi-purpose iPad-based application to facilitate the feedback process. In today’s highly-customized and ‘customer-centric’ environment, the feedback and reviews play a crucial role in the success of the business. To improve the customer satisfaction through the feedback and to gain the customer insights, feedback apps are powerful and insightful at the same time. Also, in Healthcare industry, reviews are given most important due to its real-time and trustworthy factor.

The client approached Brainvire for developing an iPad Feedback Application. Feedback plays an important role in business growth. There are numerous ways available for collecting a feedback or review. The most attractive way to show customer’s review is through visual content. The client wanted to have the feedback functionality through the video, picture, or text. Brainvire’s team worked hard to fulfill the desired outcome through the development of feedback application and widget customization.

Review Storing and Publishing

The major challenge was storing and publishing verified reviews efficiently in the application. Also, the client is associated with the healthcare industry and thus, they wanted to obtain standard practices while posting reviews and verifying it. Real-time and standard reviews play a crucial role in the healthcare industry. HIPPA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a standard for protecting sensitive data. Anyone who is associated with treatment, payment, and operations in healthcare, in order to access the patient information, must be in compliance. The client wanted to publish the data with a HIPPA compliant hosting provider that requires certain administrative, physical and technical safeguards according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

To bring an apt solution to overcome this challenge, developers created a fully-fledged feedback application which asks for the user’s permission before sharing the reviews. It will take the acceptance agreement from users by clicking on ‘I Agree’ terms and include the signature of users inside the application.

In order to make review sharing easier, the client wanted to develop an embedded widget for reviews to be placed in the different website. It was toughest as it needs to be customized as per the current UI of websites.

To address this challenge, the Brainvire team resulted in customization of the widget as per different technologies and platforms. The widget shows the recent review received for the particular organization in the platform.

Efficient Subscription Renewal Model

Among many revenue generation models, the subscription-based revenue model is more prevalent and widely used in healthcare. The feedback application is based on subscription revenue model and thus, subscription renewal module needed to develop efficiently. Also, the team has also faced the challenge of coupon management.

Many people have felt that the current payment processing is unreliable and insecure. And to overcome this challenge, the client wanted to integrate the payment processing and ACH gateway. ACH is preferable for financial transactions in the United States. The Brainvire team successfully implemented the payment gateway by analyzing and customizing the subscription renewal module.
