The first challenge emerged when the client wanted us to incorporate the buy one and get one free offer feature with extension. The website was facing performance issues with the implementation of this feature. The second challenge comes up when Magento extension was used to modify the products’ categories, which was not compatible with the website theme that made the extension implementation difficult. Both the challenges were resolved by creating some logics and algorithms to improve the website performance with offer feature integration and make the changes in the extension so that category products gets displayed on AJAX load.
