About

Our client is a Canadian transportation business formed in 2018. It is centered around an app that matches riders with drivers, collects fares, and pays drivers. What began as a little vision from its founder has today evolved into a firm with over 15 workers! This app is currently accessible in Ontario and will soon be available in additional provinces/territories. It is available to both Apple and Android users.

Project Highlights

The mobile app was suffering from several issues due to shoddy programming. We resolved these issues to improve the application's performance and quality of life for its users. Our mobile app developers can help organizations streamline their app operations by identifying and fixing even the most intractable problems. Numerous improvements and new features had to be added to this ride-sharing software, and we ensured that it works well for everyone who uses it. We have introduced a referral option in the driver app, allowing drivers to refer others and earn rewards. Additionally, we have enhanced the ride request system to notify nearby drivers, enabling them to accept requests and significantly reducing driver search time.

The Challenges

  • Driver App Does Not Have a Referral System:
Thanks to the lack of a referral option for the driver app, users had no incentive to spread the word about it, which means that a potential marketing channel is being neglected.
  • Problems with Making Ride Reservations:
Those drivers who are farther than 7 kilometers away are notified. As a result, riders may experience extended wait times for their rides or have them canceled altogether.
  • Discount-code Validation Issues:
User satisfaction was adversely affected due to invalid discount code redemption in the mobile app.
  • UI Concerns:
Interface issues leading to negative user feedback and fewer app downloads.
