The Shift2Go hotel chain is owned by a business based in Massachusetts. Owners in the mechanical engineering industry are experts who have made major contributions. Brainvire was engaged in managing the technical aspects of the project and bringing its vision to life. This well-known hotel chain required a manager-contractor interface in order to rapidly and efficiently outsource duties to contractors whenever they were required.
About Product
Any hotel management needs to see a contractor’s past performance, evaluations, and ratings to determine their legitimacy and pay. This will be the basis of the contract. If hired, the contractor must scan a QR code before starting his shift. This QR code logs his start and end times. They'll need this for their final check. The website platform is for managers, which will have backend technologies like PHP and Laravel, and front-end languages like HTML/CSS will be utilized to construct web applications for the manager, as well as Kotlin and Swift for contractor mobile apps. This platform will offer unique features, including Shift Requests, Certification Upload, Rating Reviews, QR Code Scan, and Billing Cycle Check.
Scanning a QR Code and Manually Initiating a Shift:
It's not possible to scan the QR Code if the Contractor's mobile camera is broken.
A Manual button has been added to the app in case the user's camera doesn't operate properly.

- Simple AuthenticationWe have designed a manual button within the app to begin the shift if the camera is not functioning properly.
- Verification of Customer ArrivalFor manually starting a shift without being at the hotel location, a Pop-Up reminder prompts contractors to go to the designated location before beginning the shift; punch in/out tracking and shift timing are included, and contractors have the freedom to cancel shifts anytime.
- Verification of Employment CertificationDuring registration, the administrator confirms uploaded qualifications, enabling the manager to verify certifications or work experience, while facilitating a chat feature for contractor-manager communication.
- Allotment of Shifts ContinuallyWe faced challenges setting up backend logic, API fetching, and contractor invitations, so we suggested using the Conflict Shift concept to simplify managing contractors across multiple jobs.
