About Project
Shift2Go is the owner of a hotel chain. In order to rapidly and easily outsource jobs to a contractor whenever they were needed, this well-known hotel chain required a manager-contractor platform. Brainvire was hired to handle the technical aspects of bringing the concept to fruition.
What we did
The project workflow is set up so that when a manager posts a job, they select a contractor from among the candidates who have applied for the job. To establish the reliability and remuneration of contractors, the hotel management must review their job skill certification, reviews, and ratings. If hired, the contractor must first scan a QR code before beginning their shift. This QR code will be used to track their workday. This will be required to manage the billing and final payout to the contractor. New shift notifications are tailored to contractor job roles. However, permanently employed individuals at a hotel cannot utilize the "Take Shift" feature for the same hotel.

The platform supports various capabilities, including PHP, Laravel, HTML/CSS, CSS for web apps, and Kotlin/Swift for mobile apps. Unique features include shift requests, certification uploads, ratings and reviews, QR code scanning, billing cycle checks, and a chat feature for contractor-manager communication. Additionally, the system prevents permanent hotel employees from taking shifts at the same hotel, includes punch in/out tracking, and offers shift timing functionality.
